About RedditScout

RedditScout is an AI-powered tool that watches Reddit for the posts where people are actively asking for what you sell — and the small team that builds it also writes every guide on this site. This page explains who "we" are, so you know who's behind the advice.

What we build

RedditScout scans any subreddit around the clock and uses a language model to score each new post against your description of a good lead — surfacing buying-intent posts and filtering out the "I love [competitor]" noise that plain keyword alerts drown you in. We built it because we were doing this by hand for our own products and refreshing a dozen subreddits all day didn't scale. Who writes these guides

Everything in the blog and comparisons is written and maintained by the RedditScout team — the same people who build the product and spend their days reading Reddit threads, testing competing tools, and talking to founders, marketers, and freelancers about what actually works. We publish under "the RedditScout Team" rather than inventing individual author personas, because the guidance reflects the team's collective, hands-on experience with the platform.

How we write

• No fluff. Every guide is meant to be usable, not padded for word count.
• Honest about competitors. Our comparison pages say plainly where F5Bot, GummySearch, Syften, and others beat us. We'd rather you pick the right tool than the one with the best copy.
• Fact-checked and dated. Pricing and feature claims come from each tool's own public pages, and every comparison carries a "How we evaluated" note plus a visible Updated date. When a competitor changes pricing, we change the page.
• Written by people who use Reddit. We don't recommend anything — including behavior that risks a ban — that we wouldn't do on our own accounts. See Reddit marketing without getting banned.

Corrections & contact

If you spot something out of date or wrong — a competitor's pricing changed, a subreddit rule shifted — tell us and we'll fix it. Accuracy is the whole point of an "honest comparison." You can reach the team from any page's footer.
